I know I already posted something today, and I should be studying biology, but I wanted to post this. Sometimes, life simply isn’t fair. You don’t get what you want and it sucks. However, sometimes what you want may not be what you need. Still, it’s a horrible feeling to want something so bad that you ache, and yet you can’t have it. It isn’t fair, of course. But sometimes we just have to accept it and move on. I am a true believer that everything happens for a reason. Sometimes things fall apart, but other things are put together. And as the old saying goes, “When one door closes, another one opens.”
There is always something good coming for you if you work hard for it. Success is not defined by what colleges you get into, what SAT score you get, what rank you are. Success is defined by the hard work and effort you put in in order to reach your goals. Don’t ever let someone tell you that you aren’t good enough. You know what you say to them? Fuck you. Because when someone tells you no, they may just not be smart enough to say yes. Don’t ever let anyone make you believe that you haven’t succeeded. The only person who can judge that is YOU.
So Aida, I dedicate this to you. You have accomplished so much, and I sincerely look up to you. You are going to be one hell of a successful bitch, and you can call me from your private jet one day (: Your life and success are only beginning.
